Hand-Painted Furniture & Home Decor

I'm a decorative painter in Fairfield County, CT, specializing in upcycling and saving unloved furniture & furnishings for over 20 years.  I've had a life-long love affair with vintage finds.  Growing up, we stopped for roadside finds, scoured flea markets, barns and attics for unloved treasures. Over the years, one project led to another and I've been upcycling ever since~breathing new life into old, unloved furniture and furnishings. I take great care to respect the old pieces when restyling. I use a variety of chalk and water based paints, stains, stenciling, hand embellishments and decorative finishes. Currently in the works is a line of custom colors that can be used with a choice of paint application.

 

When I'm not painting furniture, I enjoy gardening, cooking and building an occasional parade float.
